My name is Subedi.I worked as a President for a Ngo ( HIMALAYAN VOLUNTEER SOCIETY). I am working for a big project that work for the poor children and poor people.
I started this project in very poor village and help them to make their life-hood better.
It seem so strange to tell that there exist the caste system in Nepal.By law, the caste system does not exist in Nepal, but changing a law is easier than changing an entire country’s perspective. Some people still abide by the system, some only adhere to it in certain aspects it does not affect locals at all. The caste system in Nepal is only in operationally socially and even thought the law states that there is to be no discrimination, it does flow strongly through the veins of some communities.
Education less Nepali remote society divided in mainly two types of discrimination 1.Impure but touchable castes and another is Impure and Untouchable castes.
My project is especially for those group people. The main motto of my Project is to promote them their every day life, good education to their children and socially equality and skill transmission.
